🥉 Prefecture Hopping in Ginza, Tokyo

Ginza’s antenna shops are a fun way to explore Japan’s regions without leaving Tokyo. Each one represents a different prefecture, with local snacks, crafts, and specialties.

This route takes you through seven antenna shops in Ginza and Yurakucho. It’s an easy walk, and with every stop, you get a little taste of somewhere new.

Ginza Antenna Shop Walking Guide

  • Starting Point: Higashi-Ginza Station

    Get out from Exit A1.

    Iwate Ginga Plaza (いわて銀河プラザ)

    🗾 Iwate Prefecture

    🛍️ Nambu ironware, Kuji amber, Iwayado tansu, local sweets, sake, and seafood snacks

    🍦 Soft serve ice cream, plus seasonal tastings and food events

    🕒 Open daily from 10:30 to 19:00 (closes at 17:00 on the last day of each month)

    Ginza Nagano (銀座NAGANO)

    🛍️ Wine, sake, wild game, fruit, vegetables, and crafts like woodwork and textiles from Shinshu

    🍷 Café and tasting counter serving seasonal dishes and drinks from Nagano

    🕒 Open daily from 10:00 to 20:00

    Hiroshima Brand Shop TAU (ひろしまブランドショップTAU)

This walk through Ginza’s antenna shops ends near Yurakucho Station, with plenty of regional snacks and souvenirs in hand. It’s a quiet way to explore Japan’s diversity, tucked between department stores and side streets.
