My favourite place to shop for craft supplies in Japan is ABC Craft (ABC クラフト) in Osaka.
They stock an incredible variety of craft materials to support a wide range of crafts like resin crafting, decoupage, candle making, jewelry making, clay crafts, sewing, miniatures, herboriums… and a lot of inspiring craft kits to try out new creative hobbies.

ABC Craft is also great for browsing and buying quality jewellery fixings like jump loops and head pins that don’t tarnish and are easy to shape. (These simple things are hard to find in Australia these days 😢)
Now, let me warn you: ABC Craft is pretty big. (Have a look at their floor guide.) If you venture inside, be prepared to lose track of time and money. I’ve walked out of there 3 hours later with a $300 lighter wallet… 😅 But it’s so worth it!

Luckily, getting to ABC Craft is a breeze. It’s located inside a shopping mall called Abeno Q’s Mall, just a 3-minute walk from the south exit of JR Tennoji Station. (It’s right near Abeno Harukas, the tallest building in Osaka.)
Abeno Q’s Mall is not only home to ABC Craft, but it also houses a variety of other shops that are worth exploring. It’s tailored for the younger crew, and it’s one of my favourite shopping centres in Japan.
ABC Craft is only in Osaka. Nowadays they have an online shop, but it’s just not the same. If I’m vising western Japan, shopping at ABC Craft is on my priority list, which makes it a 🥈 (= make a detour) on #myrevisitlist.
