This is one of those quick, no-fuss recipes I make when I want something simple but still a little nourishing. It’s mainly just cabbage and tuna, but together they make a surprisingly satisfying snack or light meal. It takes just a few minutes and a quick nuke in the microwave.
Ingredients
- Cabbage … 250g
- Canned tuna … 90g, drained
- Roasted sesame seeds … 1Tbsp
- Weipa (Chinese style stock powder or paste) … 1tsp
- Soy sauce … 1tsp
- Sesame oil … 1tsp
- Garlic (paste tube, grated, or powder) … 1tsp
- Cracked pepper … to taste
How to make
- Shred the cabbage (with a 1mm slicer) and microwave for 1 minute. Give it a stir, then microwave for another minute.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
