Trakkies turned into FMA Amestris uniform with HTV

I had a pair of navy blue tracksuit sports uniform from my Japanese high school days, which I was close to throwing out. But then I thought maybe I can have some fun with these with my Cricut Maker.

My favourite character from the anime/manga Fullmetal Alchemist is Roy Mustang. So I thought I’ll make Roy’s Amestrian military uniform out of it; just something simple like the hoodies they have around at Donki.

So I hopped onto my Illustrator and Cricut Design Space to make and cut out the parts.

I first cut the parts out using removable vinyl to stick prototype them into place.

Once I was happy with the sizing of the parts and the location, I cut it out with heat transfer vinyl. The HTV colours I used were Siser EasyWeed’s gold and silver.
