Konbini Tissue Box Case: Perler Bead Pattern

Here’s a tissue box case I made with Perler Beads, inspired by convenience stores in Japan (aka “Konbini”).

Details & Video

The internal dimensions of this tissue case is approximately 22.8cm long x 12.2cm wide x 10.2cm tall (or about 9″ x 4.8″ x 4″). The lid snaps onto the two sets of tabs in the corners to avoid it from lifting off when a tissue is pulled out.

In this video, I pop a 140-sheet tissue box inside the case then close the lid – with two snaps to secure it in place. Then I pull a tissue sheet out, and rotate the box for a 360° preview.

(The 140-sheet Kleenex tissue box in the video is about 21×11.5x10cm. Other brands at the supermarket had a box length of 22cm, with the width and height being ever so slightly smaller than the Kleenex.)
